BRAVO!!!
Hi Shane - I hope you don't mind if I butt in on your question to Bill. The lights themselves are 5000K but is it possible you are picking up a color cast from the tent? Another possibility is the anti-reflective coating on the crystal. If that's the case, you may be stuck manually correcting the color no matter your setup. Does the color cast change if you change the angle at which you take the photo?
Sent you an email.
Thanks for your advice David.
Yes I think some of it is reflection and some of it due to white balance setting. I was reading white balance actually assumes that most things are actually a shade of grey, so I am going to try a custom white balance and see if that helps at all.

Another photo of my Regulateur Ardoise dial, this time I think I have captured the dial colour properly BUT the numerals and the hands look black when in fact they are silver. Never knew taking photos was so hard.
Bill, I always look forward to what comes out of your "visits" to the basement! These photos don't disapoint...stunning!!!
If only I could take photos as good as that Bill.
Congratulations on your increasing photographical expertese and of course not forgetting the beautiful watch
