happy to share my last acquisition, an Hermet case dated 1942 cal, 83 mm. 37,5

These Hermet case watches are overlooked.  This one is lovely with the two-tone dial.
Pretty interesting how the crown is not sticking out- actually a pretty good idea!

Congratulations on this stunning watch. I think I know where you got it from. The seller had three hermet case IWC listed and this one (or exactly the same one , but the seller turns out to be a different one) was in my view the nicest example.The dial layout is very clean, yet it's not boring. It holds a sense of sexyness and excitement to it. Very nice.

I love how the design, numerals, and colors all represent the time it came from. It's quite clear it's a Portuguese but looks distinctly different from a modern-day Portuguese as well - it's beautiful.
