Le Petit Prince in America

Having ordered my LPP a few weeks back, I was impatient(like most of us would be)so at precisely 10:00 AM I was outside the NYC Boutique waiting for the doors to open. On schedule, Andre appeared and I was ushered to my favorite spot and the presentation began.

First, I was presented with a deluxe gift set of "The Little Prince" including a hardcover book and CD, then the watch was presented. The watch does not disappoint, it is extremely attractive and wears well.

The LPP XVII is the perfect blend of Simple & Beautiful. That Anniversary Edition/CD is a great bonus too.

The Blue Flu is spreading....

First, congratulations Kevin. I know you have been anxious to have the PP on your wrist. Second, Kevin doesn't have to wait in line to get into the Boutique. He has his own reserved place at a frequent flyer.

A little bird told me... one person in Hong Kong bought 16 pieces of the LPP Mark XVII at once.

Also, yesterday, at the Boutique, I was told that 8 pieces arrived in Singapore on the morning of 25 Oct, all spoken for.

Looks good Kevin. I'd sure like to see one in person, and will look forward to more photos from you and the others who have bought one.

This model seems to be generating a lot of buzz - certainly a lot more than the "regular" Mark XVI or XVII did. I find myself wondering whether it is the color scheme, the font of the numerals, the counterbalance on the seconds hand, or perhaps just the whole package.

Whatever the reason, it is a sharp looker. Wear it in good health.

What was I thinking when I joined this forum? Out there in the general population of watch enthusiast I'll still be an early bird with an LPP arriving sometime in November, while here everyone and their dog will have theirs by that time. Which also means that I'll have to think reeeal hard to find a photo angle no one has thought of until then. With my luck, there will also be pictures of the LPP on the steel bracelet by then.

Well, serves me right, wanting to play with the big boys. No matter, it still is a lot of fun to be around here and the atmosphere is really friendly.

And of course, congratulations, Kevin! And your pictures do make the wait a bit more bearable.
