    Dear forum,

    I am considering to acquire an IWC 807/808-AD caliber 8541 in yellow gold with a roman dial in white (Picture 1).

    My main concern is the dial. Is this an original dial or replacement dial? 

    I reviewed the 1968 catalogue (Picture 2) previously posted in the forum and the dial is distinctly different around the date display (The numeral III is showing on the watch I am considering).

    I have however found one watch sold with the same dial in the URL below. It states this is a 1968, which seems odd given the catalogue roman dial.

    Does anyone know if the watch I am considering has a fully original dial? If so, what should I be willing to pay for the watch?

    Hi Christoffer,
    the dial looks fine, i onw the same watch in steel which is new old stock, never touched and it has the exactly same whit dial as depiced in the first image.
