Just a few quick shots. This watch is just wonderful. The white dial just "pops" just like on the platinum regular version.

Light Was Poor. The Strap Underside Is Red Not Pink.

John Hancock Building in backround in Chicago.
I should have said "Fussball". nt
Is that a decal or is is printed on the glassback?
Great watch Alan! Does that mean you have a rooting interest for the boys in red/yellow/black and white?
Best,
Larry
No decal, appears to be printed in some way...
to the inside of the glass. Maybe etched? MF may know.
No, I will be cheering on the US team while enjoying my German team watch.
Very nice Alan and a relevant addition...
to your big watch collection.
Especially like the ecru stitching on the strap.

Congratulations, Alan. I know you have waited..
for this special Ingenieur since January. If I recall, you ordered it by mobile phone while standing in the halls at SIHH. I look forward to seeing it soon.
Bill
Here's the actual one that started it all >>>
this is the Deutsche Fussball Inge that you just couldn't put down during show and tell in the IWC booth. You kept picking it up each time someone else sat it down.
Well done,
Bill

Your memory is good. I did contact my AD on ...
my cell phone and made sure I was on his list.
Congratulatios! Fantastic Ingenieur....
Wear it in good health and for many "goals". Love the back. Is the glass printed or etched in some way?
Jeff
Not sure, but it seems to be written into the...
inside of the glass. A very different effect from the usual.
Bill, when I get back to Philly...
I am going to bring some watches over to your house and get some professional pictures taken.
It's probably a silk screen enamel frit >>>
If so, it will be very durable. When you see logos printed onto computers, etc that is the process.

Looks Great!
A great looking watch. Congratulations.
I hope the German team spends more time looking at their Ingenieurs than watching the ball. Enjoy!
Excellent tool for the incoming world championship
Congratulations Alan! Very nice watch, great colours combo and amazing chrono movement.
I guess you won't need further help to determine the time elapsed during the games, extra time included.
Regards,
roberto
Wonderful watch, congratulations ...
... and thanks for the pics. They're real life shots and provide a good impression of the look and feel of the watch. It's a real stunner. I wonder what it would look like on a steel bracelet - if there is any (from the big Inge fits?).
Now enjoy the fussball, futbol, football, soccer, calcio, pilka nozna or whatever is your favorite. Let the games begin and bring the world together as friends - like this forum in a smaller circle.
Do you all have enough cool beer in the fridge? I do. ,-)
Tilo
I suspect that the bracelet from the Inge Chrono..
will fit. But I am not certain of this. The case appears to be the same so it should work.
