will fit. But I am not certain of this. The case appears to be the same so it should work.

I contacted IWC and was assured that...

the Ingenieur Chrono bracelet will fit this watch.

Also, - the printing is done via pad printing "on the back/ on the inside" of the glass, to avoid any impact from wearing the watch.
There were various tests like temparature etc. to make sure that none of the printing material would get into the movement.
