I posted these photos before, but as I was cataloging photos I was reminded how beautiful the IWC blue dialed watches can be. My Laureus and a new favorite to be, the PPC introduced this year.

    Hoping for some sun tomorrow,

    Bill

Yes, very beautiful, and we need blue too

We have the same weather, and like the same colour. Very good pictures, and I wonder how popular that new Perpetual Calendar will become: I think it will be a huge hit. There is one great blue watch missing, the Portuguese Automatic Laureus: I saw a wonderful picture of it elsewhere on the net this weekend.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing titanium Ingenieur Automatic AMG

Forgot I had a picture of that beauty as well....

I was at an AD's showing and saw this great Laureus last fall.

    Gone but not forgotten

Isobars already posted a great shot of the Cousteau, so I'll "remember" these two.

Not too much rain in the big apple, but...

..a lot of friends in NJ got flooded & lost power.
I hope you or other forum members weren't so severely impacted.

    Here's a blue on a drizzling Monday.

    Have a great week everyone.

    Cheers,
    Evan

    Lovely shots!

The only blue on IWC's in my collection is the Portuguese Automatic with blued hands and numerals and a blue strap. I do have two blue dialed Breitlings though.

I would love to add a blue dialed IWC to my collection and the new Portuguese Perpetual would be great :-)

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Two tips, not necessarily to follow both

If you go for absolute beauty and great movements there are two watches to go for, already shown by Bill:
    - the Portuguese Automatic Laureus
    - the Portuguese Perpetual Calendar

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing yellow gold Portuguese Perpetual Calendar: now I do not need one of the watches mentioned above
