Long time vintage - Check!

Happy to share my latest IWC vintage addition - 1967 Aquatimer Automatic ref 812.

Eventually found an 'untouched' silver-dial one, from the very first production. Of course it has many user traces from 50 years of use but I prefer this one over some overpolished examples that have been available.

Considering to replace the aged crystal that gives a brownish tint, and if possible have the dial gently cleaned.

I do wonder how a Swiss company comes up with that submarine logo on the back, curious if the Swiss navy ever owned one...;-)
