Hi
I was told that this Schaffhausen was very common nevertheless I did not find
any documentation - it should be from the fourties or later, and I also did
not find any IWC logo as in this watch, Can someone help here?

MasterWelcome to the Forum and your watch is probably a Cal 83, which was made from
1930 to 1947.Before we can tell you more, we need to see the movement number and the number
inside the caseback.Is this a family heirloom Watch, or are you thinking of buying it?

Hi
It belonged to my Uncle who lived in New York. I have no Idea when did he buy
it - before 1950 at least.
