Love my Spitfire

New on the forum.

Really love this watch. Great watch to wear and great looks in my opinion.

Hello and welcome to the forum! You have taken some great pictures of your lovely watch! In the first picture I can see a fabric like background. Can you tell me what it is?

I have always felt that the raised numerals on the ardoise dial make the 3878 one of the classiest aviator themed watches around. Enjoy your watch in good health!

The fabric on the background is from a carrying bag witch came with a IWC Topgun Cap.

Wonderful watch, congratulations! Mine says hallo. The ardoise sunray dial is fantastic, the watch goes well with the bracelet. On strap it looks more dressy, great! Enjoy it!

Thanks! Indeed, it goes well with the bracelet. I wanted a more dressy look and for swimming and others sports i wear a Tag Heuer with metal bracelet.
I also felt in love with the ardoise dail, especialy in sunlight.
Since i own the Spitfire my other watches, two Heuers and a Chopard Mille Miglia are in the safe.
I also like the pilot chronograph " le petit Prince" with the bleu dail. I think This wil be the next IWC for me in the future, i hope!
But first i still enjoy the looks of my Spitfire!
