Fantastic Squadron Tony :o)
An extravaganza it is indeed. Does hardly come more impressive than that!
All the best

Wow...what an impressive collection! Thanks for sharing it with us, Antonio!
WOW WHAT AN EXCELLENT LINE-UP!!
you do not see that often in one box
Can you post a pics of the backside of the watches
curious if they (and if so, witch ones) have the ARROW on the case
Wow, what a wonderful treat to see these together.
Great collection, Tony.
Nelson
The Broad Arrow or Pheon was used for centuries to mean British Government property, but it has been discontinued. All Mark 11 from the Royal Air Force and the Fleet Air Arm have the Pheon, but some Mark 11 from the Air Forces of the Commonwealth countries also have the Pheon stamped in their caseback.
Amazing collection Tony and great photo there in the cockpit!
Unrecognized thread, but now spotted.
Long term goal to collect those rareties and successful into a box now.
Indeed extravaganza !
The "civilian" version could be part of such a collection as well ?!
Hi Hebe.
Excellent Ref. 2612. Congrats.
I've been tempted a couple of times to add the Ref 2612 to this group, and
even started negotiations to acquire one a couple of times, but the price was
never right and/or I convinced myself that, the Ref 2612, not being a military
watch, it did not belong with the others.
Also, and this is very important, that IWC box only accommodates 6 watches,
and there are no boxes for 7 watches, which means I would have to acquire a
box for 12 watches, which would leave 5 empty places. And you know that
Nature abohrs a vacuum, which would compell me to acquire 5 more Mark 11. And
then what would happen if I ended up with 13 Mark 11? Do you see the problem
here? :-)
Not having unlimited funds, I must establish boundaries, sometimes artificial
ones, so I don't end up living under bridges. However, I am unsure of this
boundary and wonder if I will not succumb one day, and just get one.
Fortunately they do not show up for sale that often.
Truly superb collection!
Cheers
