I have been thinking of buying into this 1951 Mk II 6B/346 but the dial is sending me a red flag that it is not all original.

My thinking is that prior to 1960 the dial would be radium and as this has the circled T then we know it is Triitium - so the only conclusion I can come to is that this is a later service dial most likely 1960s given the patina of the tritium markers.

I don't mind buying if the price is right for what it is. The main thing is that I want to know what I am buying.

    Appreciate any and all opinions.

    Thanks in advance.

Military replacement dials are not really booked like service dials perhaps because they were executed in one hit...service dials not being recorded means differentiating between wilf from wolverhampton and factory ( which decade which supplier) is problematic...military changes are deemed more running history.
