Very nice report. I enjoyed the lovely pics.
Thanks for sharing.

Mark,
Don't let that baboon steal your watch! Have a great trip.
Great reason for the trip. Was your visit a surprise to your father?
Loving seeing the natural environment shots - Blyde River Canyon looks so peaceful.
Brilliant travelogue Mark - I enjoy travelling "with" you :-)
Thank you Skule :-)
Hi Anthony, no it was not a surprise it was planned on my side, although my cousin from Sydney arrived as a surprise to all of us.
The whole trip worked out amazingly well. My Brother in-law is in Cambridge as visiting professor, so that gave us the opportunity to visit with him as well.
My travels are complete. I'm at home and go back work on Monday.
Just a few more pics I would like to share, from my second last day in South Africa.
Waiting to meet a friend for breakfast in Rosebank

I was fortunate to find these fantastic pieces at a Johannesburg AD. Words cannot describe the beauty

Well, that concludes my journey.
Thank you Thang, Greg, Ralph, the London Boutique manager Aymen, watchmaker Rob and staff for making a very memorable trip.
Have to agree Mark, that Portuguese is the business. It has to be seen in the flesh.
