Mark's travelogue 2015

My family and I are currently enjoying our annual vacation that will take us to London, Cambridge and South Africa.

While in London I had the great opportunity to meet some very fine Gentlemen

I returned to the Boutique and was fortunate to get to play with two spectacular IWCs while Rob, the watchmaker did a repair to the VC Inge. The rotor securing screw had sheared! Luckily the screw head did not lodge anywhere sensitive or cause any damage.

Next stop Cambridge. We rented a punt and had fun on the Cam.
My Brother In-Law is visiting Professor at one of the Colleges and over 3 days took us through the Halls and Chapels of King's And Trinity College, Fitzwilliam, Whipple and Sedgewick museums as well as the Wren Library.

Yes Jarrod Spectacular! Besides housing the original Winnie The Pooh manuscripts, there are Isaac Newton papers and a Pricipia Mathematica as well as other amazing ancient manuscripts. A very interesting Neo-Classical interior with busts of previous College masters peering down at you.

The reason for my trip to South Africa was to join my father on his 80th Birthday
