David Seyffer, the curator of the IWC museum asked me to share this information : Important information for our museum guests - the IWC Museum will be open on Monday, 31st of July from 10am to 3pm and will be closed on Tuesday, August 1st (National Holiday).

And he posted a nice picture of an oldie, a model Edison, with electronic movement, not a quartz.

Now that's a groovy watch. I'm thinking bell bottom pants, platform soles, giant neck chains and polyester!

Hi Nelson. Do you remember how many polyesters they had to kill to make a leisure suit? ;)

Far out! The leisure suit has to be robin's egg blue...can you dig it?

Some are interested in this former High Tech watch, so some details.

It hast a hardened case, it is very scratch resistent .

My Edison has got an IWC service and a new dial, because the sealant of the glass has become liquid and has reached the dial.

This is a well-known problem of these watches.

And a view to the movement.
