I like the new Portugieser collection, but I would really love IWC to create a
    MK XIX.

The receipt could be so simple - take the steel case Automatic Spitfire and
    make the following small modifications:

    - Switch to MK XII- / MK XV-style hands

    - Substitute MK XIX for Spitfire

-Add the excellent IWC Pilot's Watch type bracelet

That's all. A no date version would be nice, but I can live with the date
wheel, if that's what it takes to make the watch commercially viable for IWC.

IWC already did this with Tribute to Mark XI

Sold out now but it fulfills your critearia and a Mark 18 bracelet will fit.

    Here is mine.......

I'm aware of the Mk Xi tribute, but a new version based on Automatic Spitfire
would mean an in-house IWC movement instead of Sellita sourced one.

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm sure that the Sellita-based caliber 35111 works
just fine, but I'd really like to get a new Pilots Watch with a classic design
    and an IWC in-house movent.
