Model and year ?

Hi there

Can anyone help me identify this beauty, that my dad left me.
He bought it with his first pay check, when he was a young banker. It is a manual watch with steel case and acrylic glass. The dial is in two tone colors that changes a bit when I flip the watch.

I am would like to find out more about this watch.

Your Dad left you a very nice Cal 89 watch that dates to 1954.
The bicolour dial is beautiful and it's great to see a watch in such original condition.

A Clean/Oil/Regulate service, a new crystal and nice brown leather strap, will make this watch good for another 50 years
