Hmmm ...you cropped the edges (deliberately maybe) so I cannot see ? Is this one of the illusive wrist model Schützenuhren?
Either way - I certainly agree. That dial is stunning.

No, nothing deliberate. It is an open faced pocket watch. I'm not a real fan of those Louis hands, but the script is marvelous, IMO.
