My father died with IWC on his wrist, and I am wearing it on mine for 15 years since then.

I would really like to know which model is it, and how old is it. I have downloaded some app. that said 1978., but I would really like to get some details about it. Case nr. is 2213447. Even the wristband is still original, so I do not need to tell You more about quality. Thx for your help.

A much better image is needed to identify your watch. You might like to look through the 1960 and 1970 catalogues on the vintage catalog project to see if you can identify your watch.

IWC charge a small fee (I think it is 60 Swiss Francs) to provide an extract from the archives. If you order an extract, you will need the movement and case number. Please get a watchmaker to open the case if you do not know how. This will show the retailer IWC sold the watch to and the date. Details can be found here How can I order an extract from the records
