Hi guys, I've recently acquired this beauty from a friend. Any idea which ref this should be? It's case size is 34mm. Comes with fish crown too. Thanks in advance

I'll tell you two ways to find out here:

    1. Have a watchmaker take the back off. On the caseback inside should be the reference number (as well as the case serial number and, on the movement, the movement serial number).

    2. Identify the watch by going to my vintage catalog compilation at www.iwcforum.com/Vintage_Catalogs.html --I suggest you start with the 1957 catalog, but also be careful of small differences in size and lug shape of the various models.

It would be my guess that your watch is a Ref 309A.
    (But I cannot be sure.)

    Best regards,

Thanks for the catalog!I had a mechanic remove the snap back case and we found that the movement was a cal 852.
From the catalogue, it seems that my watch matches the ref 309A quite nicely except for the crown. Another candidate would be the ref 607 which i found happens to have the similar crown and cal 852 as well.

Nice watch! As you may well know, Türler was, and remains a high-end Swiss retail shop. Some collectors value "double branding" on dials such as yours.

    Regards,
