    Hello Forum,
I owed you some pictures of the GST.
As you can see the Perpetual Calendar is showing thursday 1st of July 2010, 01:14 am... oops! I know... When I received it as a gift I didn't had the box and manuals... so, I accidentaly fast forward it (fortunately not between 8:00pm and 2:00 am!)... then, I did some research in our IWC website... blogs, etc. and understood my mistake. I did wore it for some days, I was so excited about my new watch... Now I decided to let it catch the date, mainly because in México the Richemond Group charges me a whole lot of money to re-set the watch.

Meanwhile... I'll contemplate the moon in July.

    Greetings,
    Héctor

    Here they are

I use Firefox so I hope Internet Explorer works in a similar manner.

    Your first image is at:

    www.glowfoto.com/viewimage.php?img=28-204622L&rand=4709&t=jpg&m=03&y=2010&srv=img6

Right click on the image itself and click on "Copy Image Location" and paste this onto the url for your first image:

    img6.glowfoto.com/images/2010/03/28-2046224709L.jpg

then do the same for the subsequent images.

    Cheers from the cellar

Help! GST Perpetual Calendar Year Slide

I have just noticed that my Perpetual Calendar year slide replacement is white with black numbers and not the opposite!
My GST PC Titanium is Black!... Did my sealed glass capsule came mistaken or I have the wrong box? Also, do you know if a Perpetual Calendar Manual should have come with my GST?

    WOW!!! Congrats a great watch....

Unless you're taking a lot of vitamins, and successful in cryogenic freezing - the century slide change that will need to be made in 2200 should not really concern you. The watch will need to be sent in to a watch maker (or even IWC, hopefully, if it exists 190 years from now).

You have the correct box for the GST (I own one too) - but it does appear that a mistake was made in the color of the century slide. You should be able to simply take that glass phial into your dealer and show them the error - and request a swap.

That is right Richard and makes sense, I'll go to the dealer and request the swap!... I do take vitamins!... though I was thinking my great grandson could have it haha!

Thanks and congrats on your GST too!

I have the feeling that it will make a comeback someday... for now we just happen to have an amazing original watch.

GST PC Titanium with an Aquatimer rubber strap?

Has anyone attempted this? I think it is a good alternative for the sailing, surfing, working days!
