My "Half-Century-Watch" that I got last year a DaVinci Perpetual in Steel. Of
course, a watch always has to get you caught emotionally, but this one also
has a great value for the price. The perpetual calendar, the chrono - all
engingeered by IWC. When I wear the Portuguese PPC, I miss the chrono - so to
me, this watch is the maximum you can get for a pricetag that is - compared to
other watches - reasonable. And of course it is absolutely beautiful, with a
gold rotor on the backside and very nice details on the dial, like the starry
nightsky and moonphase. Am I right with my impression that there are -
compared to other, similar priced watches of IWC - very few of them out in the
    wild?

I believe you could be right in your assumption, it is a rare watch. And
indeed a great total package, perpetual calendar by Kurt Klaus and the chrono
function as an extra, what is not to love.

    Understated, but also underrated.

Great to see one here on the forum. Wear it in good health.

Nothing simple here, congratulations on a milestone and a serious watch. I
always loved the reference 3757, the combination of these complications, and
am still on the prowl. Here you have the added power reserve and the in-house
flyback chronograph, a nice upgrade! Enjoy this beauty.

The raised Arabics along with the two-toned dial make this one jump out to me.
    Very nice.

I agree, it's a great watch. And I think it can be called the legit offspring
of Kurt Klaus' original Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Chronograph from 1985.

    Enjoy this elegant Masterpiece

A very fitting watch for a great milestone.

And with the perpetual module of The Master Kurt Klaus inside - it doesn't get
    any better than this.

    Wear in good health.

    I had a
Portuguese Perpetual & then the old style Da vinci perpetual but ultimately (
being an active person) settled on the GST perpetual in titanium. So much
watch for the money and the year indicator makes the iwc perpetuals
    especially fun!

The GST series are great perpetuals too!
