My IWC tour through China and HK >>>

I just returned from my trip on Sunday and still suffering jet lag.

Sadly this first photo was just a "drive by" in Shanghai on Nanjing Road because we were already late for dinner and did not have the opportunity to return and visit

Here is the Flagship Boutique at Heritage Plaza in Hong Kong:

At HK airport I finally had the chance to see a few watches!!!!!!!

I used to live in China and miss it. Whilst I'm pleased to see an IWC store in Nanjing Lu, the juxtaposition in that shot, is telling. I don't expect it will be too long before a flagship boutique placement (similar to the HK store) is realised though.

I believe Beijing already has a Flagship boutique but I have never been there.

You're right -- there is a flagship store now in Beijing that opened a few years ago. It's prominently featured in a smart and popular shopping mall over a two floor space. Below is a photo I took a few weeks ago walking past in the mall. Great team in the store.

By coincidence I walked past the store in Shanghai a couple of weeks ago while there on business. It's very nice inside as one would expect.

Did this boutique in SH on Nanjing Road just open recently? I know there is/was a boutique on Nanjing Road, close to Shanxi Nan Lu, but not on a corner like this picture is? But then again it has been a year since I went back to Shanghai and things change FAST there!

Hi Francis,

I believe its really new -- opened earlier this year! It's a great location and looks excellent right on the corner. If you make it back up to Beijing let me know. Sadly seldom go to Shenzhen, but more frequently to Hong Kong.
