Thank you again everyone, your congratulations are appreciated.

I spent a good bit of last evening looking at the dial. The AT is certainly a sport watch but the dial just exudes beauty and class. And the lume is great. I don't think I'll tire of this one any time soon.

Unfortunately you can not buy 'goodies' at IWC, I 've posted about that several times.. Ofcourse you get a bag with a cap and latest flyer but they do not have a display of nice things to buy..
So the're purely promotional items which you get trough your AD
    Cheers

PS the factory visit is great (went with my AD when I purchased a watch)

    David,

I can only imagine what it was like to "check" your patience during the 3 month wait time. But as you now know, looking back, waiting actually turned out to be part of the overall enjoyment.

That money shot really shows off the beauty of the VC-AT and even though we don't see your face, I'll bet you had one big smile on it when that pic was taken.

Enjoy that (1st) IWC. A great great choice for your opening act. Can't wait to see act II.

    Wear in good health,

    Andy

Thanks Nad. Andy, here's hoping that yours finds its way to you very soon, if only to make me feel less guilty about receiving mine first. :)

Thanks David for the positive thoughts. As I have learned, distribution/allocation is a more complex equation than one would think. "First Come, First Served" isn't part of that equation, but the good news is that my AD has checked status and US orders/allocations are processing and on track for delivery. My order thankfully has not been overlooked.

Again, enjoy that beautiful VC-AT. I hope to share the same excitement that you feel soon.

BTW, if the guilt about getting yours b/4 me is eating you up, feel free to send me yours and I'll keep it happy until my order lands.

    LOL,

    Andy

Guillaume, good to know that there's another forumer in the neighborhood. Do you know of anyone else in the vicinity? Is Paul around here?

David, I cannot answer your question since I am pretty new to the forum. All I can say is that the riviera must be full of forummers since I got caught with the Uhren-virus again, and one must be responsible for this!

I love the vintage line. There you got a great start into the beautiful IWC world.
    Enjoy.
