    Vintage Aquatimer...

I just received my new VC Aquatimer and love it. But there is something strange happening. I am already considering another IWC to add to the collection (port hand wound or Regulateur).

I just wanted to thank Joe (WestLynn) for his help with the AD and I hope he doesn't mind an email from me occasionally to talk watches.

This forum has inspired me to strive for greater success as a professional. Not only to be able to afford nice watches but to continue to provide the best I can for my family. I want to thank all the forum members for sharing their opinions, photos, and life experiences with me.

Congratulations Rob - one of the best ...

Rob - Congratulations. I like that Steel Aquatimer from the Vintage Collection - I think, out of the steel models - the Aquatimer is best pick.

    Enjoy it.

My apologies for interfering this ....

post. I have a slightly different subject to discuss , thank you.
    Hello Joseph .
I would like to ask you about Spitfire Mk. XV black dial . Is this model still in production ? I know I'll have to face a negative answer , because even the 2009 catalogue does not show it. Was this "black dial" some kind of L.E. ? All except this black dial and inscription indicating this is a Mk.-XV is identical to Mk.-XVI with silver dial.
    Thanks for good will.

    WBR , Tom

    No Problem, Taubi.......

...Except for finding a New Spitfire Mark XV 3253-011 on strap or 3253-012 on bracelet. The Mark XV was 38mm and the Mark XVI is 39 mm. There were LE's. You can find a lot of information in the Archives and by doing an on line search. Lot's of photos too.

    Good Luck,

    Great choice :)

Of the IWCs that I own, this one has the most comfy strap for my needs.
Superb legibility and a great daily wearer, especially when the monsoon is here!
I hope you will like it as much as I do.
