Hello every one! After such a long period, now I've got another Mark! Last time I held a Mark was back to 2005 (XV). What a memory~

Now I have sort of re-joined the IWC world with my new Mark XVIII. I'm quite satisfied with it. It's such a simple yet gorgeous piece. Love it. I am glad to have him as my companion in the following time.

Looks good. I really like the new Mark. I've never been a fan of pilot's watches, but I was in my AD a few weeks ago dropping off my wife's Portofino and checked out the new one. Somehow none of the photos I've seen do the watch justice; it is a beautiful watch. I'm eager to see the Le Petit Prince; the blue sunburst dial must be stunning.

Thanks Steven. Agree that Mark looks quite handsome in real. For me the web photos that do Mark XVIII best justice by far are the ones on the "A week On a The Wrist" of Hodinkee and the shooting of Les Rhabilleurs. The Mark matches quite well with the car and apparel.

I think the Le Petit Prince version is very gorgeous. The blue sunburst dial and brown leather strap is perfect match. However, while I like the Le Petit Prince it(him)self, I prefer to have Junkers Ju 52 engraved on the watch back. That's why I chose the black dial one. But have to say again the Prince version is quite nice and would worth every penny to owe one.

    Great piece!

Why is the first mark starting at 11? And not 1?

Thanks. I believe the designation of Mark I was already applied to another category of item.
