My name is Ricky and I just joined the forum a few days ago after having purchased my very first IWC watch, the Jubilee Portofino Chronograph with blue lacquered dial. Allen at the Madison Avenue boutique in NYC was tremendously helpful and has put me down on a waitlist for the Jubilee Pilot Chronograph with the white lacquered dial (fingers-crossed!)
I'm not new to watches, but this is my first IWC and I was late to the Jubilee watches, so I'm playing a bit of catch-up. I was seriously considering the Jubilee Portuguese Perpetual Calendar as the PPC has always been a grail of mine, but at the moment it's too much watch for me, haha. I'm also considering the Top Gun Pilot Chronograph but that will be contigent on whether the Jubilee Pilot Chrono becomes available to me.
Here's a shot of the Portofino on the same day I picked it up last week. The forum and my local boutique has been a great resource for research and seeing current models. Cheers all.
