Tis a beauty. It's my favorite dial/metal combo of the 8-days. Enjoy it!

I'm pretty sure it's possible. Just head to your local AD to view options in the workbook.

Just thought I would share my excitement in being the proud new owner of a Portofino 8 day. Love it! I have to stop looking at it while I am driving, so I do not get into an accident! How do I upload pictures to this website?

It is a beautiful piece of understated elegance.

Congratulations - and, as many have said, wear it in good health.

There is deployant clasp available but you need to change out the strap also to accommodate it. It is a nice upgrade and will probably give the strap a longer lifespan

    Dear IWC

Unfortunately, I have had another bad experience with your shop assistant in Prince's Building in Hong Kong.

I recently discovered that the second hand had fallen off of a relatively new IWC Pilot's Watch that I had purchased from the Prince's Building IWC shop in Hong Kong.

I brought it into the shop and waited days for a response. When I got a response I was shocked to see a quote of HK$3,500 to repair the broken second hand.

I challenged this saying that the warranty should still be in place and all I wanted done was to have the second hand repaired.

The person on the phone, Eric from the shop, promised to check into this and get back to me. He did but this time Emily sent me a quote with the same quote and basically saying it was caused by excessive wear and tear. I was not given any chance to discuss this but it was assumed the damage could only have been caused by my excessive wear and abuse. Honestly, I have worn that watch maybe ten days in my life.

I tried calling and discovered that Emily could not speak English so asked to speak to Eric.

In summary Eric was downright rude to me. I tried to ask him to stop talking so that I could express my view but he insisted on explaining that the verdict was that I had been the cause of the problem and the warranty would not cover the expense. He eventually warned that he was going to hang up on me as I continued to ask him to stop and listen.

Ultimately I hung up on such a rude service person.

I have been a loyal and long term customer but in this one phone call Eric destroyed any sense of value or trust I have in your brand.

    Eric should be fired immediately.

I do hope you can help with this and at the very least give your sales staff some training.

    Regards

    darehk
