Dear IWC family,
I don't know how I am going to fall asleep tonight. My very first and brand
new luxury time piece from IWC is currently traveling and I am so thrilled..
It should arrive tomorrow and I hope that everything will turn out fine with
it. I am new to the world of IWC and relatively new to watches as life is
uneasy and I've managed to join...a bit later.
I hope that, maybe, this will be the start of a collection to pass on some day
as I intend to wear it, scratch it, use it, just own it. I hope to keep it
safe on my wrist not away in the safe.
There is something special about IWC pilot's watches apart from the history
and heritage, they keep me feel hypnotised, I cannot explain it, I don't want
to. My order was for the pilot's chrono 43mm, Santoni strap, dedicated to one
of my most beloved books from childhood - Le Petit Prince. Sure the watch is
not the most precious out there in tems of calliber movement or other factors
but it never is about cost relation, is it? I wish that we will develop a
strong bond, have some wonderful stories to tell in time just like in the book
- the Prince learns that the heart is important in recognizing the things that
really matter in life.
