    Hi Forumers,
got this one on a vinatge watch market some weeks ago. It is a section model of a IWC Yacht Club, that show the date quick correction mechanism of the Cal. 8541, as well as the case construction of the Yacht Club R811a. The interesting story behind, is that the model should be from the former posession of Jürgen King (one of the Authors of the IWC Book). As well the hand written sticky note that come with it shows Jürgen Kings handwriting.
Up until now i have only seen one more of these IWC section models, that shows the Ingenieur 866. Has somebody else seen one other section models ?

There is one in the IWC museum- don't remember if it is a YC or Inge, or what- that is sectioned.  Interesting for sure, but I don't think even the wizards at the repair department in Schaffhausen could make this one waterproof again.
Nice interesting collection object.  Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Nelson,
is it really true that we are now present on this forum for more than 17 years, and we joined the Forum at the very same day.
I really like the people that carry their enthusiasm over the years.
