    Hi

I hope some of you will be able to help. It turns out my dad has this really
old IWC watch, and I would like to know what kind of IWC it is. He inherited
it from an old friend, but we do not know anything about it.

Pictures for reference. I tried the "Date your IWC app", but it could only
tell me that it was produced around 1892 (Best guess)

I used the number on the lid as case number (Don't know if that is the correct
    number)

    Thank you in advance.

Obtain the number engraved on the movement. Enter that number along with the
    case number for additional info.

    Beautiful watch :o)

It is a Savonette (Hunter) cased pocket watch and is similar to my Lepine
watch, which is a Cal 52 and dates to 1915.

As Mr Barker has said, we need the movement number to tell you more.
