    Hello, I inherited this IWC watches from my Grandfather. And I would really like to know more about this watch especially how the original band looks like.

    you will need to post pictures here and if possible more clear ones of the dial and crown too.

    I have a similar one, it's late 60 and early 70's Cal. 89. I don't know about the original band, when I got mine service IWC placed it on black 18mm calfskin strap. I was told though that originally it was on black alligator strap. But cannot confirm that accurately.

    Dear Members, I'm new here. I currently plan to buy my first IWC vintage watch and would need some help from you. I found the serial number at "dateyouriwc", it is from 1962 but cannot identify it. Anyway, how can I be sure about the authenticity?
