Needing to know more about calibre 423

Hi, im a beginner to iwc vintage watches and movement - was strolling around
the web and came across iwc watches with calibre 423, could some of the
experts here tell me more about the movement? I only know that the movement
was made around early 70s, but there seems to be little discussions about it -
really appreciate your time and knowledge!

I can't tell you anything specific to Cal. 423, but here is some info on 422,
