    Hi everyone!
New at this forum but a true IWC geek.
Browsing through Ebay one day i found this dial being sold by a quite big parts supplier in Australia. I have never seen this before so of course i had to buy it :)

I have some what doubts that it is a genuine article since i can´t seem to find it in any catalog! Anyone seen it before??

    Thanks // Niklas

Ref 9727 is an Ingenieur model

as can be seen above. The image is from Ingenieur models by Marco Schönenberger (see the link below). Even though your dial is labeled 9727 it is clearly nothing to do with the above watch.

The seller was auctioning other IWC dials that I thought were very dubious. They were also selling dials for Audemars Piguet, Chopard, Longines and Tudor so I guess they had got them from a dial manufacturer. Whether the dials were commissioned by the respective manufacturers or put together as examples of what the dial manufacturer could do, I do not know.

I do know I haven't seen your dial (or several others offered for sale) on an IWC produced watch. Sorry.

    Cheers from the cellar

No..i have searched the entire net after this specific dial..which i guess is a "one shot"..which is quit cool :) I won´t use it anyway but it was worth a shot getting info about it here among experts :)
