Congrats Antonio - That's something extra!
Any pictures of the back and the heart? What calibre?

Congrats Antonio, a wonderful piece ( still missing a 5215 in my collection ).
Great addition. Will you wear it ?
Thanks Anders
It is a special watch indeed and a true Ingénieur. The movement is a cal 9520 but I do not have images of the movement in this watch yet.

Great addition. Will you wear it ?
Thanks Tonny. I wore it yesterday and today. It fits perfectly in the little pocket above the jeans right pocket, which is its actual purpose.
Beautiful watch Antonio, congratulation, we are talking again of great piece.....
Really a beautiful one, Antonio! Congratulations!
Fine, that beauty has reached its destination.
Enjoy it, Tony.
The authenic chain is much more rare as the watch.
That combination makes it perfect.
If you want to open the case, you can use an adhesive tape.
It works fine.
Regards
Heiko
Thanks Heiko.
That seems to be a good alternate solution to replace the tool that would be necessary to open the caseback.
I waited for a Ref 5215 with black dial and "everything". :-)
Beautiful Ingenieur...congratulations, Antonio!
Fantastic addition, big congrats Tony :o)
Congratulations Antonio on that "complete set" - what a fantastic find. You are not helping me with my ever increasing desire to fill my little pocket above the jeans right pocket;)

Hi Antonio, many congratulations on such a rare and extremely handsome pocket watch!
Kind regards,
Bob
Congratulation Antonio.
We do not have to wait longer to call this a true vintage.
It is already an icon.
Adrian,

Antonio, what a great addition to your collection! This watch, charming and anachronistic, is an example of what IWC did so perfectly in the post-quartz era. That you found it complete, and with the chain- sweet!
You've already been asked if you will wear it; but I'll ask- will you swim with it?
Nelson

Hi Nelson. Thanks for the suggestion to go swimming with it, but I'll have to pass. First, although the watch is waterproof, it is too heavy and I may sink. Second, and this is very important, my Speedo does not have pockets. ;-)
Congratulations my friend. A wonderful example. One day, all Ingenieurs will look like that; may be just a bit bigger without the antimagnetic nonsense and that beautiful movement.

I've tried NOT to see this image in my mind- my gosh, what was I thinking??
Only your Sweet Baboo might like the looks of you in a Speedo!

Do you mean this one ?!
