Hi I have noticed that when setting the time to a reference point and I turn
the minutes had backwards to precisely set the time the seconds hand moves
backward , then once the crown has no pressure on it it moves forward to the
original posistion . I have seen many videos of the Big Pilot where the time
has been set by turning the hands backward and the seconds hand doesn't move .

MasterThis behavior is normal.
it all depends how tight the canon pinion and the gear train are. It's nothing
to worry about -

MasterHi, to comfort you, my Big Pilot 'Safari' has the same behaviour. I must admit
I was surprised to see this the first time I set time and it is the one and
only IWC I've ever owned so far that has this behaviour. But certainly nothing
to worry about.Regards, Bob
