Elegance with power for 192 hours

There are moments you look forward to all week long and, since last year, winding up the Portofino Hand-Wound Eight Days has been one of them for many lovers of fine watchmaking. The flagship of the Portofino family with its newly developed IWC-manufactured 59210-calibre movement will run precisely and reliably for a full 192 hours, or 8 days, before it automatically stops.

This masterpiece is now available with a midnight blue dial.

My favourite IWC model just got better! Love that blue dial and just a notch cooler than the current black dial IMO.

I would have thought IWC would save this variant for the next Laureus model in the future. It's still a great variation nonetheless. Well done IWC!

Hard not to like a midnight blue dial. A very classy addition to the Portofino line.

Says Mr. Blue dial himself. I agree, it's a beautiful dial design and color.

For those who have seen this in the metal. How does the blue compare to Laureus blue models? Does it have a sunburst effect?
