New IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42

I just received the new IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42.

I love the new size and the classic Portugieser design. It was born on
December 14, 2019 - easy to reset the date on this complication.

There is also a comparison to the full size Perpetual Blue.

Congratulations Bill on a truly magnifiscent addition to your already
magnificent collection.

It was a very pleasant surprised and honored when they offered me an early
release and had it couriered. I am still looking forward to visiting the

I believe it was one of the first of four to arrive in North America. I got
the lucky draw!

Hi, completely missed your post of that gorgeous new PPC, big congrats!

Really curious how it looks in real life?! I love the dial lay-out, but also
support some critics that the sub dials appear to be just a little bit too
close to the center of the watch?! I know from experience you can only judge
it from having it on the wrist, so enjoy it and wear it in good health!

I guess, as the diameter of the built-in Caliber 82650 is 30 mm whereas the
case's diameter is 42 mm, there were some Design Restrictions for the Position
of the Subdials...

The subdials are closer to the center than my 5032. Noticable in comparison.
On its own, it still looks great and is much more wearable for me.
