    Hello to all forum members,

After some time spent here just reading, I think it’s time to “step out of the shadow” and say hi.

I’m happy owner of 2 IWC timepieces – Spitfire Mark XVI and Ingenieur Automatic.
Spitfire was my first IWC and initial role planned for this one was to became “dressy” watch – and having diver and chrono already it fit very nicely into collection. But as it turned out - it’s great low-profile do-it-all watch, can be dressed up or down nicely, and with few different straps for different situations in the bag it is nr.1 watch for traveling.
Last autumn I was lucky enough to get new Inge 3227. It needed to go into service almost immediately after purchase because of self-winding issue, but when it came back few days later and I finally started wearing it – wow. This is THE WATCH. Perfectly build, no-nonsense design, great legibility, perfectly balanced on the wrist, and with all those technicalities inside – robust movement, Pellaton winding, shock/water resistant, magnetic shielding – one perfect piece. It’s also most accurate from all my watches. Lucky me, I guess… :-)

These IWCs were not my first watches and there are other pieces in collection, but as I see it now, those might be for sale soon, hehe. In last few months I practically wear only Inge, apart from those occasions when Spitfire gets the time. I’m pretty sure I will have other watches in future, not just these two, but it’ll be much easier to choose one – as it will be an IWC. And this forum is one nice bonus to the package, being able to discuss with people sharing same hobby.

Thanks for reading, I’ll try to post some pics too. Have a nice day everybody!

    Rudo

The Spitfire Mark XVI was my first IWC also, and it still gets a large amount of wrist time. This forum is the place to find out about everything IWC and the forum members are only too happy to help and comment. I look forward to your pictures...and again...welcome!

    Best regards,
    Jim

    Welcome Rudo

I share your thoughts about the Inge 3227, it's a great watch indeed! Mine gets almost 100% wrist time.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens
