IWC launched a new model, the Pilot Chronograph edition AMG, a non limited
    edition.

The case, crown and pushers are made from Grade 5 titanium, a lightweight and
resistant alloy also used in high-performance cars. The dial features the same
black carbon fibre often used for racing chassis parts.

Just my opinion but much too large and carbon fiber dials make me dizzy.

However I am probably in the minority with those thoughts.

    Thanks Tonny!

These were taken last Friday evening at the launch event put on by IWC
Melbourne in conjunction with Mercedes-AMG Melbourne. It was great to be able
to attend in person and catch up with the IWC crew and other friends. We are
    very lucky.

The watch is superbly executed. That carbon fibre dial is mesmerising and the
use of titanium and the embossed calf skin strap is a shrewd move too as it
not only looks stylistically appropriate for AMG racing, but also felt very
light compared to the other chronographs - even though it is 2mm larger than
    the current models.

NZ666AD - I can understand your comment about the carbon fibre dial making you
dizzy. I have seen them in the past on Ingenieurs but never paid too close
attention. With this model I noticed the numbers seem to hover above the dial,
giving the face of the watch a depth and 3D effect. I found it fascinating and
    really dug it!

In terms of size it is larger than the current crop. However, my reference for
a Pilot's chronograph is the 3777-25, which is the same size, so I was used to
    those dimensions.
