    Hi there,

I noticed it was New Moon so I decided to take a wrist shot and post it here :-)

    sibon.triple-it.nl/images/stories/IW502117/502117_wrist_20130410.jpg

Are there other Perpetual owners who would like to add their pictures to this thread?

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

PS: sorry for the yellowish shade on the down left side of the watch dial, I saw it only when I had the pictures on my PC screen. I wonder what caused that reflection, maybe my phone?

    Beautiful starry skies Ardoise!

I couldn't resist in putting the RG 502103 on too for a wrist shot. This one is a lot harder to capture and it looks better at full moon with the two golden disks. Nevertheless, here is the best of the 30-some pictures I took:

    sibon.triple-it.nl/images/stories/IW502103/502103_Wrist_20130410.jpg

Hopefully somebody will post a starry sky from a 5022 with the magnificent aventurine sky (Bill, Tonny, Skule, anybody else?)

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Having a steep learning curve today. Because our company exists 50 years, we got an Apple iPad mini as a present. Great, isn't it? Of course I want to do about everything with it that I could do with my laptop. Plus some extra's, like posting pictures directly from the mini on Facebook, and using Photobucket to upload and post these pictures on our forum. Well, here is one result, my Portuguese Perpetual Calendar of today, with new moon, on my perpetually mesmerizing go board.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Beautiful pictures guys. Paul: congratulations with your company's anniversary and the iPad mini. I really like your picture of the PPC on the go-board. I stopped playing about 5 years ago already but I still love the game!

BIW: there is no better watch than the incoming! And a PPC is as good as it gets!

Bendy: beautiful starry sky just like Ardoise's one. I think this version of the PPC is a forum favorite, I know at least four happy owners without even stressing my gray (a tad lighter than Ardoise) matter :-)

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

    Hi Clemens,
great picture of a new moon shot.
One question is it really an iPhone shot?
    No prime lens?

    Hi Hajo,

Yes, this was taken with my iPhone 5. I adjusted the color balance with the 'auto color balance' setting in "The Gimp". The difference was minimal though since the picture was taken outdoor with a clouded sky. In general the colors are as real as you can get then.

I tried to take the picture of the black dial PPC with my DSLR but it's too big, you can't get far enough from the watch for the auto-focus to work. I used to have a 5 Megapixel point-and-shoot Canon, it was great for wrist shots and the simpler stuff. The iPhone 5 has a 8 Megapixel camera and in general when there is enough light the pictures are great!

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Great Clemens, congratulations - well done!
You are a high skilled iPhone 5 photographer! :)
I am only a snapper, but I have to confess that my iPhone5 is my first iPhone since 2012/12 and I usually use it as phone, for sms and email transfer till now. ;)
I directly made a pic at my AD when I collected the steel bracelet for the MK XVI 'daughter' but the quality was poor.
I obviously need a long-term iPhone training till I'm able to use and master all it's functions. ;), :(

Inspired by the new moon, I took out some "no-moon" too.
Realizing that I need a marcro lens. If I manage to get the pics better, I will post some more of the 3710.
