Yes, the steel Portuguese Perpetual just had a soft launch, and some boutiques have them. Great watch!

    WOW!

That steel is better looking than some gold models. Wow. I can't believe this day has arrived. #sellout #portuguesperpetualsforeveryone

The steel PPC has a remarkably legible dial. The red seconds and date hands make a big difference. Thanks for posting.

Cesus, you are the lucky one! You were just congratulating me the other day and here I am congratulating you for a change. The orange hands are very helpful. I always have difficulty telling which is the shorter and which is the long hand on my Portuguese. I would not have that problem with your watch.

Interesting. The photos of the SS PPC in the other thread don't really do it justice. These pics look great.

dropped by the Boutique in Hong Kong and was fortunate enough to have gotten the opportunity to see the steel PPC in person. Only 3 days old in the boutique! How I wish I had the means to purchase it...

    it´s fantastic isn´t it?
I thought a lot about purchase - but on the other hand I can get myself a big pilot AND a Portuguese 7 days (or the big Inge)
But the PPC I can´t get out of my head …

… And to quote a wise man on the forum: "I have a huge list of new and second hand IWC's I plan on picking up in the future. And the list just keeps growing. It's all part of the fun."
    :-)

    Cheers

    Hi Christian,

Christian, that is pretty much the smartest quote I have read. Ever. :-)
