I couldn't agree more....
I think that sometimes we are custodians of the finest watches....and there are no more deserving custodians than those who appreciate and understand them. Rob and Dick are clearly deserving of these incredible watches, and I extend my compliments to them.
Thanks so much, Nelson and Mike. I remain
extremely excited by the presence of the Pisa, which hasn't left my wrist since its arrival. I'm not a very emotional person, yet my wife says the last time she saw me so excited was when our first child unexpectedly turned out to be twins - and that was 36 years ago!
I really appreciate the nice comments from both of you. That makes it even more fun!
Nelson and Michael, I feel very honored ! ...
Thanks ... and again, as I was writing in a prior post, IWC's collection is so wonderfully built-up that collectors of any budget can collect, in the (financial) lower or higher budget, never mind, but it becomes collectable in some way or another.
And either collection can be enjoyed by other collectors - just as you do - though be it in the other budget class.
And that is what I find so wonderful of "feeling IWC", if one allows me to use these words as a verb.
I do "feel IWC", although my collection is modest, however having the chance to read simple posts as the parent one on this forum, makes me happy and makes me feel part of a virtual world near to my daily world. For instance, here I share my passion and things which I do not share with my family (except my wife of course) and only with few selected colleagues and of course all forumers.
Thanks again, happy to be here, love it !
Ciao, Rob.
