This is supposed to come out in the fall, limited to 1948 pieces, its the mark 18 case and movement, and i like it a lot !

Of course its not an exact replica but more modern and in line with today`s market, but it has the spirit imo. Due to the longer hour markers the date is better positioned than in the mark 18 i believe.
If anyone can download that picture to post here please do so, i failed at that.....

Nice one! I would prefer it on a normal leather strap with pin buckle though, like on the Petit Prince.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

I was shown an image of this while visiting the Beverly Hills Boutique on Monday. I was not allowed to get a copy of the image or any of the information related to the watch because it had not been publicly disclosed. But I guess you can't stop the internet :)

I like it a lot. As was already said, the longer hour markers push the numerals towards the center of the case which results in a better alignment of the date window.

Great to see the MOD hands back on a Mark! Not sure if I'll try and buy one since the watch is rather redundant with my Mark XV but that hasn't stopped me from thinking about it...

Its more like a mark XII tribute come to think of it, with the automatic movement and date window.

Yes, the Mark XI. is the grandfather.
Wish the 3706 would "return" too in a 40-41 mm case, caliber 69xxx day-date, turning 60 min.-bezel like on the Timezoner Chronograph... perfect for the 150 year in 2018...

From what I saw the other day: it's 40mm x 11mm, has 30110 calibre, and could have an initial exclusive distribution from Harrod's.

I heard recently about it and hoped for picture. Now that it's here, I really like it.
I personally would prefer another colour on the NATO strap.

    Cheers Chris

Right, it's the same case/movement as the Mark XVIII. I heard the same about Harrod's, they'll have the exclusive for the first three months. Deliveries via ADs and boutiques around October.

My deposit is in, now the waiting begins...

Will the bracelet of the Mk. XVIII. "street version" with the micro-adjust feature fit? I'd love this watch if it came with the new in-hous cal. 42xxx movement... And love the black calendar disc, design-wise the only plus to the Mk. XII. A 36 mm version would also be nice. Wifey has a Mk. XII. Ladies with the nicely decorated JLC 960 caliber and keeps the watch very high rankink in her small collection.

It uses the same case as the standard Mk. XVIII so I would assume so.
