After a lot of wear over 10 months, I thought it was time for a change. What do you think of this choice?

It's a Rios black buffalo I found through a German seller. Only trouble is that the deployant buckle doesn't fit well, and a regular buckle is better.

I think it looks good. Colour works well and the style is nice.

Not bad. It looks similar to the original strap which has the white stitching on it.

I realized it's not easy to find a nice strap for CF3, really takes up some effort. Good choice, thanks for sharing.

    Michael,
that fits very well. Could we see the reverse side of the strap?
Thanks and enjoy the CF3 :-)

Looks good Michael, but I think the original strap looks a bit better. Have you considered the bracelet as an alternative?

I would stick to the original strap. The structure of the replacement strap doesn't fit the dial that nicely. Did you change the strap because of wear and tear of the original strap? That would be quick, my straps last longer.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

I like it - it gives the watch a whole new look. I would love to see a wrist shot if you get a chance Michael.

Looks great together with that matte black dial Michael!

It looks good. I would like to see how the impact from the structure looks like when you're wearing it, as well as the style of the buckle.

How about posting a wrist shot?

    Cheers Chris

Only problem is it looks too fresh. I think you need to wear it for another 6 months, wear it in nicely and let's evaluate again ;-)

At first I thought "What, change the strap on a CF3!!!!!" then I looked at it more and whilst I cant put it into words, the black strap seems to both hide and set off something in the CF3 that I quite like, it kind of disguises some features and when you see them you like it more.

Norbert, that's exactly what I wanted to write too. All of it.
Very often (not always) the IWC strap choice is really great.
And yes, I do love the CF3 on bracelet. I saw Ralph's in the flesh in Schaffhausen which is a blast.
