I ordered the SS bracelet for the AT 2000 and it arrived today. My first impression is one of pure joy. It is an extremely comfortable strap. The rubber strap is great, but in 100 F weather, it was getting a bit warm and uncomfortable to wear. The quality of the bracelet is outstanding. And, for a klutz like me, it was a breeze to take out a link and install the bracelet on the AT. I had used the quick release feature before just to try it out, but taking off the old strap and installing the new one was a very easy. Removing the link was also very easy. IWC has done a great job.

I totally recommend picking up the SS AT bracelet for those who have not done so yet. I really dresses up this sport watch and it is so practical for all weather occasions. I expect this to be my daily watch for some time.

I will take some more formal shots later, but here are some quick and dirty shots.

The new bracelet looks great Bill!...

The SS is more comfortable in the heat (it is all I wear down here from about March through October!)...and I think you're right about it dressing up the AT.

    Best regards,
    Jim

Looks great, and no disagreement here. The

AT rapidly became my daily wear watch and I wear it probably 90% of the time. I had originally thought it had a great frosty look perfect for Winter, but it is also oh so cool in Summer. Even with current temperatures 90 to 100 degrees (32 to 38 Celsius) it's still comfortable.

Welcome to the bracelet side of the aisle! :-)

    Question about SS AT Bracelet

    Hi Bill.

The total weight of your watch now, does it bothers you or not?

No weight issue at all >>>

the fit is perfect and well balanced. At 147 g, I hardly notice it on my wrist. My much heavier 3227 Ingenieur, at ~220g, is also one I don't really notice as being heavy once I have it on my wrist.

    Bill.

Looks like a winner. Fast change is a great...

idea since there are no scratch marks from screw diver or tool slippage.

The easy to handle changing system...

makes the AT a perfect (diving) holiday watch.

For me it is the Deep Two that I wear with the velcro strap during the day for diving. In the night I change to the rubber strap (sporty look) or the bracelet (almost elegant look). So one watch meets almost all occasions. OK, I also took the BP St. Ex. with me.

    Regards
    Andreas
