Great to read the official announcement with loads of exciting news for a wide range of tastes. Words alone speak wonders and obviously I am looking forward to see them in a few weeks time. I hope time will fly with the new Pilots Line.

Wow, very interesting news and just as the others, I am looking forward to see pictures!
Kind regards,
Clemens
Fascinating innovations and all that BUT the bigger they get the less inclined I am.
HNY!
No turning bezel on the classic Fliegerchrono:( My money will stay in my pocket... The more I see where the Flieger line is heading the more I'm happy to own both the 3706 on bracelet and the 3705. Maybe 5-6 years ahead when the turn will come on the pilot line again.
Best,
Robert
It's finally nice to get the official word about the new Pilot's line. Sounds exciting and I can't wait to see them.
Nelson
PS and it's great to see you back here, Tilo!
WOW really beautiful - i cant wait to see another "pilots"!
More in-house movements and seems to be so that they will not have a see through back - Pilot watches will stay faithful to the original idea. Very interesting and looking forward to seeing photos!
Best regards
Hmmm... the press kit is very nice but unfortunately the first unveiled watch does not suite my style. It has a far too big diameter... but there are people on the world who love such big watches. IMHO a diameter over 44mm does only look good in a classical watch like the Big Pilot - in new projects this kind of case is completely unnecessary. I'm waiting for the Spitfire Digital Date Month and the Big Pilot Ceramic.
The press kit does not say a word about a Hand Wound Pilot's Watch - not good...
Are there gonna be more novelties in other product lines?
One photo and a great tease, it seems even Andrew needs lessons on how to do suspense. Bigger and no doubt thicker, mmmh. I look forward to the in the metal experience.
Finally a 41mm Pilot - ceteris paribus and I'll get that one for sure.
48mm pilot chrono is a bit too much for my tastes.
Thanks Michael,
A Happy New Year Indeed
Can't wait to see them!!!
Cheers,
-Joe
Thank you for sharing the information Michael, looks like exciting times ahead for the pilot watch lovers. Rgards
That is stunning! Can't wait to see that in the flesh.
A few quick comments and replies:
--I'm not sure there are 6 new models. My information shows 19 new models (yes, 19) but some are dial or bracelet variations. So --there's more.
--Is the only ceramic the Top Gun Miramar Chrono? No.
--What about the size? Yes, it is 48mm but I have some photos comparing the 48mm vs. the the current 46mm steel one --you'll be surprised, I think. The dark color looks smaller. I'll show them after IWC releases more images. And the reason some of the others grew slightly is NOT, according to IWC's Product Management, due to any trend. The idea was to balance diameter to height.
There's a lot more details, including movement and bracelet information, but those will come out over time. Stick around; it's good stuff.
They are finally announced! Thanks for the heads-up, Michael.
Looks like it will be an exciting year for IWC this year (more exciting than the announcement last year), and a painful year for us, IWC-lovers, as we will be saving our every single penny trying to catch up...
:-)
Here are some more photos of the future Top Gun
Thanks Michael - this makes more sense, since in the press release alone there appears to be more than six models. Nineteen models - what a treat !
I am especially looking forward to the Pilots Watch World Timer.
Shing: I really, really like the World Timer. It might be the "sleeper" of the entire group, and it will be well-priced.
