Well, a week ago there was furious construction, as this photo from an anonymous spy reveals:
    www.iwcforum.com/NYBoutique1.jpg

Everyone was asking how they could possibly finish by the end of this month. But I was assured by IWC that it would be open before then.

All of a sudden, a major transformation occurred this morning, as our spy reported:
    www.iwcforum.com/NYBoutique2.jpg

[b]And --guess what-- the Boutique is ALMOST open. Any day now.[b]

There will be official and special opening festivities the last week of this month. If you are interested in attending a collectors' event, we may have a few --very few-- spots left. Let me know via e-mail.

I can't wait to see the finished project. It's been a long time in coming. I'm sure it will be a resounding success.

Alan you make a useless spy due to your confession without arrest water boarding or rendition being used.

No one will be disappointed with this Boutique, it is the largest of the IWC Boutiques and promises to be the grandest.

"Incoming", all the pilot watches are in stock as well as a few specials that no one would talk about.

Alrighty then! Thanks to all of the "spies" for your updates! There is now an IWC Boutique on the East and West Coast. All that remains is one situated on the "third coast." I could live with an IWC Boutique in Houston (or Dallas for that matter!)!

I know there are going to be some excellent photographers amongst the forum participants assembling next weekend. I look forward to some great photo documentation of the event! In case they are giving away commemorative pilot watches...save me one! LOL!

Visited the NYC Boutique yesterday during a week long trip to the US, was lucky enough to be there exactly 6 days after the opening. Very impressed!! It looks stunning both inside and out and has a great presence on Madison Ave. Love the way they have done the interior, I'm sure it will be a great success. Couldn't help trying on one or two pieces either :-)

    Regards
    Alan
