It's not about watch advertising in a newspaper.
One or even the most important newspaper in Germany (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung) has a rather well-known advertising campaign: "There is always a clever head behind it" and it shows someone reading the newspaper whose head you cannot see.
The person of the 99th version of this campaign is Christoph Grainger-Herr, sitting on the column of a huge sundial.
