are information that triggers a buying reflex for certain watches ?!
If the price is still damn good, the reflex will be implemented.

An OCEAN 2000 is not uncommon, but in this condition with this bracelet geo it
is. The wonderful patina of the tritium luminous material is in good condition
and does not crumble. And I have SL ZB / hands and two SL bezels for this
    model.

OCEANs are rarely shown here. Here's another one.

    Best regards

    Heiko

Thanks for your OCEAN interest and some details.

The shot-peened surface of the unworn titanium and the matted dial. Intensive

worthwhile and not many other NOS with this movement will be available ?!

    Heiko,

Very nice photographed are the steel ball bearings ( lower, right picture).

This indicates that the magnetic resistance of the watch was not meeting the
high requirements of the military versions : the Bund's.

In their movements the steel balls were replaced by ruby. But to be completely
amagnetic was not the issue for the Ocean 2000.

    Regards,

    Adrian,

    Congratulations.
I love the Ocean 2000, its like a pebble smoothed by the ocean.
My only 'citicism' of this particular one is the colour of the lume on the
bezel...but I can live with it; in fact I have for several years :)

    Well Adian,

The only BUND with ruby balls ist the AMAG, all others have steel balls.

An upgraded ref. 3500, from first bracelet geo to geo 3. The first geo is now
    rare to find ?!

    Exactly Mark,

the Compass Watches were the basics for the AMAG. And 9 ruby balls were used
instead of 7 steel balls, because steel can be more stressed than the rubies.

    Magnificent photo.
when I first received my 3510, the caseback was loose and I enjoyed looking at
the movement. Now that I have tightened it, I am not keen to remove it again.
But here is a pic I took some years ago.

Well, it is quite easy to open and close it with POWER STRAPS.

And absolutely no signs of opening.

I usually open watches with this power straps.

Heiko, I am intrigued- what is this device? Looks Like a spark plug or some
    kind of vacuum tube!

I am afraid of scratching the mirror after a few close calls in the past.

This is an electron tube (high frequency) that was used in directional radio
devices at the time of compass watches.

The heat sink has the appropriate diameter and the torque is sufficient to
    loosen the screwed case backs.

A souvenir of that time .....

Power Straps? I don't know what these are. When I 'google' them, nothing
comes up that fits the pictures you post Heiko.

    Any other hints, anyone?
